About Giovanni Tidoy

Giovanni Tidoy is a highly experienced licensed physical therapist with over two decades in the field, specializing in spine care, orthopedic rehab, and sports-related injuries. His deep expertise comes from a combination of advanced clinical training and real-world experience across outpatient clinics, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers. A graduate of the prestigious Harvard Extension School, Giovanni holds top credentials in Sports Physiology. He is also a Certified Manual Therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), with advanced certifications in cervical spine, lumbar spine, and extremity treatments. His hands-on approach integrates joint mobilization, myofascial release, soft tissue work, neuromuscular re-education, and the Graston Technique. He also incorporates elements from Pilates and yoga to support holistic recovery. Giovanni joined NYPPT in 2022 and quickly became a valued member of the team thanks to his results-driven care and deep dedication to patient wellness. Outside of work, he enjoys world travel, hiking, and fishing, and he’s currently studying Spanish and Greek. His passion for lifelong learning and movement science shapes every treatment he delivers.
