Psychologist

Hi there, I'm Gloria! I am Dr. Gloria Morrow, a licensed clinical psychologist with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University. I believe that individuals, couples, and families can heal by confronting, challenging, and ultimately modifying negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. As a Christian therapist, I incorporate spiritual principles to help clients who desire to integrate spirituality into their treatment. Many people suffer from racial trauma and other traumas; therefore, I support clients in healing from both past and present wounds. I also believe that when we all engage in mindfulness practices, we can live more peaceful and purposeful lives. My approach My therapeutic approach centers around a Person-Centered framework that utilizes CBT, Mindfulness, and Trauma-Informed Care-all layered with a culturally responsive perspective. My focus I am especially effective in working with adult men and women aged 18 and older who are experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, couples/marriage counseling needs, grief and loss, and those seeking life coaching. My communication style I create a beloved community environment where clients feel respected and their needs are prioritized in every session. Early in our work together, we focus on building a healthy therapeutic alliance, which is central to effective therapy. My journey to mental healthcare I have always been considered the therapist of my family. After struggling with depression for many years, I naturally gravitated toward helping hurting people, especially those suffering in silence. I want to make a difference in people's lives, and I believe I am called to do this work. My goals for you During our first session, we begin by setting goals that are important for your healing, growth, and development. Establishing a strong therapeutic relationship is pivotal to this process.
