My physical therapist, Gordon Golbart, provided a regimen of targeted exercises that I eventually performed at home every day to stabilize my back by reinforcing my core and glutes. An MRI confirmed I have stenosis, among other L4/5 issues, and my sport doctor said Gordon correctly prescribed the best exercises to correct my problem. I am now back to regular karate practice, and hope to soon be over a very painful chapter. I heartily endorse Gordon as a skilled PT.”

From a young age, I have always been captivated by the power of movement and the profound sense of freedom it provides. This passion naturally led me to pursue a career in physical therapy, where I could help others regain their mobility and live life to the fullest. I earned my Bachelor of Science in kinesiology with an emphasis on exercise science at California State University. Building on this foundation, I attended Long Island University Brooklyn to receive my Doctor of Physical Therapy. My love for movement and its impact on well-being inspired me to focus on orthopedic and sports-related injuries. I find great satisfaction in assisting athletes and individuals recover from injuries, guiding them through tailored rehabilitation programs, and witnessing their progress. Whether it's helping someone return to their favorite sport or simply enabling them to move without pain, I am dedicated to improving my patients' quality of life through physical therapy.

I had rotator cuff surgery in December and had almost no range of motion afterwards. Now, three months down the line, I can lift boxes, ride my bike, and return the oatmeal to the top shelf. I hope to be back in the outfield by June. Gordon works you hard, and PT can be a little painful at times, but the results are there. If you want to heal, this is the place to do it.
