Dr. Greg Frye PT, DPT, SCS As an athlete growing up in Port Orange, Florida, Dr. Greg Frye played multiple sports. Fortunately, he was never truly injured, not knowing what physical therapy was. While attending the University of Florida, he began shadowing physicians as a pre-med student. Dr. Frye soon became dissatisfied with short patient interactions and constant writing of prescriptions, prompting him to seek a more holistic approach. This is when he discovered physical therapy, using exercise as a solution to help people get back to health. After getting his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida, he soon discovered similar issues that physicians were facing. Shorter appointment times, treating multiple patients at once, and techniques of symptom modification were the normal, prompting a change. Dr. Frye soon opened Premier Performance and Physical Therapy, allowing him to make each patient the priority. Leaning on past experience of treating recreational to professional athletes, and using effective manual therapy and exercise techniques, Dr. Frye has and will continue to provide a premier patient experience helping the patient return to what they love to do. Whether it be a sport, playing with their grandchildren, or functioning throughout the day without pain, Dr. Frye makes the patient his priority, truly allowing them to get back to what they love.
