About Gregory Reinhardt

Dr. Gregory Reinhardt, DPT is South Bay's Co-Founder and head Physical Therapist. He received his Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 2008 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University. Gregory has continued his education through the North American Orthopedic Manual Therapist curriculum. Gregory spent the first 11 years of his career with Hospital for Special Surgery, the #1 orthopedic hospital in the world. It was there that he learned all the various stages of patient care from pre-operative care, non-operative, and post-operative care and performance enhancement. Greg graduated from the advanced education HSS Orthopedic Residency program in 2012. During this program he learned directly from the world's leading physical therapists. He gained the knowledge to learn the root cause of patient's symptoms instead of just treating the “pain”. He then became an advanced certified hip therapist, golf specialist, and a leader in HSS’s corporate ventures. Greg was the leading provider on creating the HSS Golf Portal. Through his expertise in treating the golfer he was asked to be the content review expert for 3 APTA golf monographs, and continues to broaden his on-going continuing education with functional skill training. He also developed the non-operative knee evaluation and treatment guidelines for the students of the HSS Orthopedic Residency program. Greg then went on to become the Director of Wellness at Hudson Wellness where he oversaw all areas of the wellness spectrum and developed patient care guidelines. Here he learned the valuable approach of working with fellow chiropractors, acupuncturists and massage therapists to fully enhance patient care. Gregory has spent his career learning the root cause of patients' symptoms. He specializes in his ability to treat underlying mechanisms of dysfunction that present as pain, weakness, and decreased function in his patients.
