About Dr. Hailey Prestash

Hailey Prestash’s journey into physical therapy was shaped by her experiences as a multi-sport athlete recovering from injury. Competing in track and field, basketball, softball, soccer, and cross country, she experienced several season-ending injuries requiring extensive rehabilitation. These challenges gave her firsthand insight into the physical and emotional toll of injury and the important role physical therapists play in helping athletes return to what they love. Hailey earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Saint Francis University. While balancing academics and athletics, she developed a strong interest in injury prevention and performance training. Through a strength and conditioning internship, she worked with Division I football, sprints and jumps, women’s lacrosse, and women’s soccer, gaining experience in athletic development, recovery, and performance. During her final clinical rotation with True Sports Physical Therapy, Hailey worked with high school and collegiate athletes throughout the rehabilitation process, from post-operative care to advanced return-to-sport protocols. She gained hands-on experience helping athletes rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence. As a former athlete, Hailey brings empathy and personal insight to every patient. She understands the emotional challenges of recovery and has a particular interest in ACL rehabilitation and knee injuries. Hailey is an ACSM Exercise Physiologist and active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her professional goals include certifications in dry needling, advanced ACL rehabilitation coursework, the CSCS credential, and ultimately becoming a Sports Certified Specialist. Hailey is passionate about helping athletes return to sport stronger, more resilient, and prepared for long-term success.
