About Haley Rosenwald

Haley is a licensed Physical Therapist in New York State who began working full-time at Professional Physical Therapy (now StarPro) in 2022 after earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor's degree from Ithaca College. Her clinical experience specializes in rehabilitation of the shoulder, hip, knee, spine, and post-operative treatment of musculoskeletal injuries to help patients return to functional tasks, participate in recreational activities, return to sport, and regain community ambulation. Drawing from her minor in psychology, she applies the biopsychosocial model for individualized care, addressing the physical, mental, social, and biological aspects of her patients’ symptoms. Her treatments include evidence-based therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques. Haley ensures patient understanding through education about diagnosis, prognosis, and customized home exercise programs designed to reduce pain, prevent further injury, and encourage activity for a confident return to physical fitness. She is passionate about advocating for accessibility for people with disabilities, both physical and mental. In her free time, Haley enjoys traveling, gardening, and playing tennis.
