She also has experience with early childhood mental health diagnoses including anxiety, depression, PTSD, reactive attachment disorder (RAD), and disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD) Beyond her pediatric experience, Halle has a background in psychology and Spanish, as well as adult rehabilitation. While completing fieldwork in inpatient rehab, Halle gained experience working with people with neurological conditions, medical complexities and post-operational rehabilitation. Halle also has volunteer experience in OT working with the Chicagoland unhoused population, providing a deeper understanding of mental illness and systemic challenges. Halle lives in downtown Chicago and enjoys spending her free-time with friends, trying new restaurants, practicing yoga/pilates and being outside in the summertime. She values creating a connection with the families she works with and believes that having a strong relationship with the parents and the children is the most important part of her job. Her warm, empathetic nature combined with her commitment and dedication allows her to build trusting relationships with the families she serves.
