About Hanna Vazquez
As a co-founder of Forward Motion Physical Therapy, Dr. Hanna Vazquez brings nearly 20 years of physical therapy experience to the practice. Hanna graduated from the University of East London, England in 1995 with BSc Honors in Physiotherapy. She then completed an Advanced Masters in Manual Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2003 followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013 from Touro College Bayshore, NY. Hanna has obtained her Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) designator through the Australian Maitland Seminars in 2013. Hanna also became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Physical Therapy Association in 2008.
Hanna continues to stay current with the most up to date evidence-based practice and research by attending international and local conferences and seminars. Understanding the dynamic changes in science, Dr. Vazquez is able to implement her knowledge into her daily treatments of her patients. Hanna also embraces giving back to the profession she loves, which is why she is a Clinical Instructor for Seton Hall University Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Hanna’s future ambitions is to obtain her Fellowship with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.

Hanna and Theo had cured my vertigo with the Epley Maneuver, but then I had surgery that brought back the dizziness. The treatment that Forward Motion PT gave me and the at home exercises did wonders.

When I first began my program and twice bi-weekly sessions with Dr. Hanna Vazquez, I was suffering from muscle pain in both shoulders, including a pinched nerve below my right-side shoulder. I also was suffering from continuous headaches. Within a few weeks after Dr. Hanna's treatments and therapy, I began to feel like my normal self! I can't thank Dr. Hanna, Danny, and the team enough for their expertise and care to enable my recovery. I will miss our sessions. Thank you!
