About Henry Fok
Henry earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University. He is experienced in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, as well as acute inpatient rehabilitation and acute care. During his time at Columbia, Henry engaged in research investigating the association between range of motion asymmetries in the lower extremities and subsequent injury risk among collegiate soccer and field hockey players. The study was accepted by the American Physical Therapy Association for presentation at its annual Combined Sections Meeting.
Henry’s passion for physical therapy developed from his love for soccer as both an athlete and coach. While completing his undergraduate degree at The Cooper Union, Henry competed on and served as the captain on the men’s soccer team. Upon graduation he was asked to join the soccer team’s coaching staff, where he is now Head Coach. His experiences coaching and motivating athletes to help them achieve their physical goals inspired his interest in physical therapy.
To further his experience in sports rehabilitation, Henry completed a physical therapy internship with the Philadelphia Union Major League Soccer team, where he helped professional soccer players return from injury. In addition to his interest in sports rehabilitation, Henry has clinical experience working with diverse adult populations and enjoys treating a wide variety of diagnoses. He is committed to truly listening to his patients, so that he can provide personalized care to each individual and help them return to the activities they love.
When he’s not in the clinic helping people get back to their best, Henry values spending time with family and friends, and enjoys staying active with soccer, basketball, and hiking.
