About Ishmael Gibson

I started my career by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where I was then accepted into the accelerated Doctor of Physical Therapy program to complete my education. Growing up, I have always been an athlete, running track and playing volleyball, which I still do recreationally today. Seeing firsthand how physical therapy can restore function and alleviate pain in people's daily lives led me into the field so I too can make a positive change. During my time in school, I completed clinical rotations working with orthopedics and sports rehab, predominantly dealing with golf and volleyball athletes. I have a love for sports, performance, and strength and conditioning, which allows me to push and guide all of my patients to their maximum functional capabilities, no matter their condition or age group. I believe all patients can reach their truest potential to live their healthiest lives with the right guidance, education, and care.
