About Dr. Jae Keun Song

Dr. Jaekeun “Jack” Song is a New York State licensed Physical Therapist and Doctor of Physical Therapy. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro University and also holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physical Therapy from Inje University in South Korea. Before practicing in the United States, Dr. Song spent seven years working in rehabilitation hospitals in South Korea, where he gained extensive experience treating a wide variety of neurological and musculoskeletal cases. In the outpatient setting, Dr. Song treats a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, including post-operative knee and shoulder rehabilitation, chronic neck and low back pain. His treatment approach combines detailed movement assessment, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and progressive functional training. Dr. Song is a DGMSM-certified Manual Therapist and is particularly skilled in hands-on manual therapy, commonly utilizing Kaltenborn-based joint mobilization techniques to improve joint mobility and restore functional movement. He has also completed IPNFA PNF Level 1–2 training and incorporates PNF-based movement facilitation into his treatment approach.
