Emil and Jenna always were on top of my exercise program and helped me as needed. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. I highly recommend this facility and appreciate their professionalism. ”

About Dr. James DiGregorio
Dr. James DiGregorio, DPT, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy at the Spine and Health Center of Montvale. James’ interest in physical therapy began as a high school athlete in Park Ridge, where he received treatment for various shoulder injuries, allowing him to continue as a New Jersey state wrestler. This growing passion led James to Sacred Heart University, where he completed both his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science with honors in 2015 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2018. While his passion lies in working with student-athletes, James has gained diverse experience in patient care. During his clinical internships, he had the pleasure of working with and treating the elderly at the Atrium Post-Acute Care Center in Park Ridge and with patients at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. James also completed one of his internships at the Spine and Health Center of Closter, where he was later hired as a full-time physical therapist, seeing a variety of patients. He has since transitioned to a full-time physical therapist role at the Spine and Health Center of Montvale, where he now works. James places a strong focus on providing the highest possible quality of care to his patients. In his free time, James enjoys going to the gym, watching sports, and exploring new restaurants in the area.

It was great help, I got the cupping done on my quads. Highly recommend after a long week of practice or any physical activity. Staff was great and really kind and helpful.

My first visit was great!! My OT was very knowledgeable and was able to explain my issues clearly. The treatment he conducted was very effective and I felt results immediately. I highly recommend The Spine and Health Center here in Montvale.

I recently dislocated my shoulder 3 weeks ago. He was knowledgeable of my condition, sympathetic to my issues and and needs. I'm feeling much better. The Center is fortunate to have him

James is engaging & very thorough. His main concern is always the patient. James encourages the patients to work their hardest at recovery, and then has them go just a bit more. His humor makes physical therapy enjoyable. You can say "laugh therapy" is always prescribed in the healing process.

I dislocated my shoulder and had to get surgery. He's come up with a ton of exercises in order for me to return to pole vaulting. He's made sure my shoulder was strong enough to return as quickly as possible without risking reinjury.

My visit was fantastic. I truly feel I am given exercises that not only help me recover, but also will prevent another injury. I feel my health is a priority but I am able to enjoy myself, laugh, & feel comfortable.

Dr. James is very knowledgeable with great bedside manner. Physical therapy can be time consuming however he makes it fun and I always look forward to going.

James DiGregorio is very friendly and knowledgeable. PT sessions are always on time, and run smoothly. James has helped me with PT for shoulder after auto accident, and now for lower back and core strengthening.

Awesome - everytime James works all the muscles in my back . He focuses on my lower back which has 3 herniated discs. James is great to talk to, listens to my issues and always how I am feeling.
