I can help you find your way through whatever is troubling you. You may be struggling with your personal or professional relationships, or with entrenched patterns that hold you back from achieving desired goals or dreams. In our work together, I will be dedicated to helping you better understand yourself and challenge old behaviors to enable you to make the emotional and practical changes you seek. My presence is felt in my warmth, openness and emotionally available style of connecting. I pay close attention to the re-enactment of embedded patterns that emerge and help you re-work them.
I blend psychoanalytic understanding with compassion and candor. This approach makes me particularly successful in my work with people struggling with relationship difficulties, attachment issues, addictions and harm reduction (including gambling, love and sexual addictions, work), anxiety, mood disorders, codependency, anger management and dual diagnoses.
I am a certified psychoanalyst and a licensed clinical social worker.
