About Dr. Jared Aguilar

Jared Aguilar, DPT is a licensed physical therapist and fitness coach passionate about helping people overcome pain, prevent injury, and build lasting resilience through movement. Originally from New Orleans, he earned a B.S. in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX. With over four years of experience in orthopedics, sports rehab, home care, and telehealth, Jared combines evidence-based physical therapy with strength and conditioning principles. As a USA Weightlifting Coach and Level One CrossFit Trainer, he teaches athletes how to care for their bodies every day, not just after injury. Committed to lifelong learning, Jared mentors future clinicians as a lab instructor and clinical educator at the University of St. Augustine and is currently completing an Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship. Outside of work, he co-hosts podcasts, dives into Star Wars fan theories, and enjoys classic 90s hip hop. Jared joins Telemed2U in its mission to expand access to healthcare.
