Her path to becoming a physical therapist grew out of her love of sports. Growing up, she was an athlete who played basketball, soccer, and track. When she tore her ACL playing basketball in high school, she was worried that she would not be able to get back to full strength, but her physical therapist helped her get back to where she was pre-injury. It is because of this personal experience that she utilizes a personalized approach for each patient to ensure they achieve their goals and get back to the life they want to live. Jena’s practice focuses on orthopedics and the treatment of sports injuries for patients of all ages. Additionally, she has become passionate about the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, a problem that is much too common, yet often overlooked. She has furthered her knowledge of the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction by taking several continuing education courses through the Herman and Wallace Institute.
