He what my goals were to achieve out of physical therapy. He listened and understood what I was saying. I would recommend him to all my friends and family that need physical therapy because with just one massage we went over a plan that works around my schedule and last thing i would want to do is back surgery. ”

About Dr. Jerome Rivera
Dr. Jerome Rivera is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and co-founder of NYC Midtown Physical Therapy. He brings nearly a decade of clinical experience in outpatient, home-based, and mobile therapy, with a focus on orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, including post-operative recovery and chronic movement disorders.
Graduating cum laude from the University of Santo Tomas and completing his DPT at the University of Montana, Dr. Rivera has served in leadership roles across New York City. He specializes in treating conditions such as joint replacements, spinal surgeries, balance impairments, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathy.
At the clinic, Dr. Rivera offers a holistic, patient-centered model that combines physical therapy and massage therapy to optimize healing, mobility, and long-term function. His mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that helps patients live stronger, safer, and more active lives.

Jerome is hands down the most amazing physical therapist I have ever worked with!! He cured my diastasis recti in just a few weeks, helping me make significant progress even after our first session (after many months where I felt it would never improve and had almost given up). He also greatly helped my neck, shoulder, upper back and posture issues, easing pain I previously thought would never go away. He is a tremendously talented, knowledgeable, and highly effective professional with a kind, warm manner that puts everyone at ease. He makes you feel progress is possible and has the detailed knowledge to show you exactly what's needed to target your problem. Unlike many in the field, he always offers personal, high-quality, one-on-one attention. He is top-notch at his profession, and also a wonderful human being who is incredibly motivating and uplifting to be around. I recommend him wholeheartedly and feel beyond lucky to have benefitted from his skills! He is a true gem!!

The location and great relaxing atmosphere is wonderful. He is patient, listens to my explanation ofthe pain area and we discuss possible treatments before he begins therapy. Been with him or a year with severe spinal problems. He has helped me tremendously to be back on my feet and enjoy many outdoor activities. He is the best.

I’ve been working with Jerome after breaking my tibia, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the very first session, he’s brought such a positive energy and made what could have been a tough recovery feel not only manageable, but actually enjoyable.
He’s incredibly knowledgeable, always tailoring exercises to my progress while keeping things fun and engaging!

Jerome diagnosed my shoulders and we did many exercises together. During this time he explained the purpose of each exercise and how it targeted my condition. Feeling better already will continue the progress with Jerome!
