Dr. Jesse Green, founder and owner of JC Green Physical Therapy, PLLC is a manual-based Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Licensed Massage Therapist with over twenty years of experience in New York City. Jesse attained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at New York University and her New York State Massage Therapy License at The Swedish Institute in Chelsea. She is also a certified yoga instructor through YogaWorks. Jesse has enjoyed treating patients in a wide variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient orthopedic clinics and home care. She specializes in orthopedic and neurological conditions, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic progressive neurological disorders, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) and pelvic floor dysfunction. She applies an evidence-based and holistic approach to wellness, with a focus on interventions that meet the individual needs of her patients to help maximize their function and to prevent future injuries. She strongly promotes patient education to enhance awareness and to create a proactive approach to self-care. Additionally, Jesse strongly believes in continued education as a practitioner and has completed several courses in manual therapy, pelvic floor dysfunction, Pilates, LSVT certification for patients with Parkinson’s Disease, among others.
