I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy within an empathic, person-centered approach. My work is warm, grounded, and focused on meaningful change—not just insight. As a licensed therapist specializing in trauma and EMDR, our work will focus not just on symptom reduction, but on how you see yourself. Shame is what often keeps people stuck—not the behavior itself, but what it means about who you believe you are. “It’s not the event or situation that upsets you… but what you think about it.” — Albert Ellis EMDR helps your brain process what it hasn’t been able to let go of—not by talking in circles, but by actually resolving it. Much of the work involves identifying and changing the internal narratives that keep you stuck. Avoidance works until it doesn’t—at a certain point, insight is not enough; change comes from the ability to make different decisions. I was born in Oceanside, New York, and raised in Miami, Florida. I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lynn University in Boca Raton, followed by a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in both mental health and substance use treatment, gaining experience across diverse clinical settings.
