About Dr. Joseph Crawford
Joseph Crawford grew up in Drexel Hill, PA and graduated from Upper Darby High School. He went on to complete his undergraduate schooling and earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Widener University in Chester, PA.
Joe became a physical therapist because he has always had a passion for health and wellness. He loves helping individuals to reach their maximal potential. His commitment to excellence in his profession is evident through his rigorous pursuit of knowledge and skills. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. He recently earned his certification in Integrative Dry Needling.
Joe treats patients of all ages but specializes in sports performance, orthopedics, joint replacements, concussion rehabilitation and vestibular therapy. He has also gained experience in the college setting with various sports, including swimming, soccer, field hockey, football, lacrosse, tennis, softball and baseball.
A compassionate clinician, Joe’s main goal for every patient is to be their beacon of hope. He aims to guide them towards leaving their physical therapy treatment better than when they started. Each and every patient’s well-being is his top priority and Joe provides only the most up to date, cutting edge, evidence-based techniques and interventions to help his patients succeed.
When he’s not in the Excel office, Joe also shares his skills in the acute care environment helping his patients to get in and out of bed, sitting, standing, walking, and navigating steps. Joe lives with his wife, Kelly, and daughter, Kaia, in South Jersey. During his free time, he loves spending time with family and golfing.
