“I was seeing Kailee for 5 months to treat weakness in my hips and low back. She listened to my feedback and had me do functional exercises in a systematic and progressive way. I've been to a lot of PTs over the last 8 years, and this was by far the best experience I've had. ”

About Dr. Kailee Claustro

Dr. Kailee Claustro, PT, DPT is a board certified Orthopedic Specialist with experience working in sports, orthopedics, and performance-based rehabilitation. She works with athletes and active individuals who want to move better, train harder, and return to sport with confidence, not just get out of pain. Her approach emphasizes biomechanics, progressive loading, and movement quality. Kailee believes effective rehabilitation should build strength, resilience, independence, and long-term durability rather than rely on quick fixes or passive treatments alone. Kailee earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UT Southwestern in Dallas and completed an orthopedic residency through the Institute of Athlete Regeneration. She brings experience from both performance and clinical settings, with a background in Strength and Conditioning for division I athletes and physical therapy experience treating high school, collegiate, and professional athletes across a wide range of sports. She integrates performance principles into rehabilitation to ensure athletes are prepared for the demands of training and competition, not just cleared to return. Kailee identifies key limiting factors, such as mobility, strength, motor control, or workload management, and addresses them through individualized, goal-driven programming designed to translate directly to sport and on-field performance. Outside the clinic, Kailee stays active through weight training. This plus her history with playing sports help inform her approach to rehabilitation and performance training. Her goal is straightforward: help patients and athletes stay healthy, perform at a high level, and continue progressing long after formal rehabilitation ends. Outside the clinic, Kailee loves to spend her time reading, weight lifting, binging her favorite shows, and antiquing.
