About Dr. Kaitlyn Steckel

Dr. Kaitlyn Steckel, a native of Tampa, FL, pursued her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida. During this time, she had the unique opportunity to play for both the university’s soccer and softball teams. Having experienced a number of injuries as an athlete, including a broken tibia and two ACL reconstructions, she can empathize with the rehab journey and is passionate about helping athletes return to sport with confidence. She went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UCF, and began her career in acute care at Dr. Phillips Hospital. Here, she developed an expertise in geriatric recovery after cardiac, neurologic, and orthopedic events. Dr. Steckel recognized the importance of helping her patients let go of false beliefs and become optimistic about aging. She fostered a love for encouraging these patients to embrace mobility and strength training. Kaitlyn is excited to be a part of the Premier family and is looking forward to working with you to provide individualized, detail-oriented care to assist you in reaching, and even surpassing, your PT goals!
