About Karen Murphy

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN APPOINTMENT REQUEST AND NO APPOINTMENTS ARE CONFIRMED UNTIL DONE SO BY PROFESSIONAL PHYSICAL THERAPY DIRECTLY** After graduating from Nazareth College with my Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2003, I began my PT career at a small-town hospital in New York, where I gained experience in outpatient orthopedics, inpatient care, and wound care. I was then accepted into the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in Woburn and made the move out to MA in 2005. Through this year-long training program, I was able to advance my skills in outpatient orthopedics, which I knew I wanted to focus my career on. In 2010, I completed a second year of the advanced training program and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, all while continuing to work full time. I am currently the clinic manager of our Billerica location and am loving working in the same town I live in!
