About Dr. Karlee Barton

I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Midwestern University in 2024, gaining experience in acute care, sports, and pediatrics. While I learned a great deal from each rotation, I especially enjoyed my time at the sports-orthopedic clinic-not just because it was in Arizona during an Illinois winter-where I treated high-level athletes at the collegiate and professional levels. Working with motivated patients who have a clear goal of returning to their sport makes progress within a plan of care even more rewarding. Although I enjoy working with all sports, my background in softball and volleyball fuels my passion for treating overhead and throwing athletes. I obtained my Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where I was also an NCAA bowler. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym and playing as many sports as I can, often with a little healthy competition from my boyfriend. I also love attending concerts, from the smallest venues in Chicago to the big stages at Lollapalooza.

Kalee was amazing! Very understanding in trying to find best ways to treat my pain an flexible with my crazy schedule. Would highly recommend.
I enjoyed every visit and felt that the exercises were beneficial to pain reduction. Karlee was also very responsive to my comments & questions during visits.
Very productive. Pain that I came in at start is almost entirely gone. None exercise program had helped tremendously with strength and mobility. Karlee has my care and the entire process.
Great! I came in post partum 3 months, w/twins and I had so much body pain and no core. I had no confidence in being able to lift my kids. Or even will get if bed wwithout help. But with the help and guidance of Karlee and the TFI team, I'm able to resume daily life and do things I didn't think I'd be able to do things (time wise & physically) ever again. I'm very thankful to Karlee for helping me be confident enough to be physically active beyond TFI.
I'm very happy w/ my PT with Karlee. Karlee listened to all my concerns from day 1 & addressed them all. She was very attentive and reassuring. I feel Karlee went above & beyond w/ my treatment!
I walked in confused, lost and in pain. Karlee tended to my issues and listened to exactly what I needed. I am walking and sleeping better knowing her and the TFI is in my corner.
