I believe that health comes through integration—the integration of our bodies and minds, our past and present, and our values and actions. In my practice, I help clients experience deeper embodiment, connecting with their bodies as they process emotions, move toward goals, and improve relationships. Using a trauma-informed approach, I guide clients to integrate old wounds into present self-awareness and wholeness. I also help clarify personal values to craft a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.
I treat trauma and PTSD with an approach grounded in Interpersonal Neurobiology and self-regulation. I provide trauma-informed care for parents with a history of trauma or difficult upbringings, focusing on regulating anger and anxiety, resolving underlying traumas, and supporting healthy parenting.
I work with young adults navigating life transitions in relationships, career, mental health concerns, and identity formation. I support clients undergoing shifts in personal spirituality or processing the impact of their religious background on mental health. I provide affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals, particularly those from religious backgrounds.
A session with me may involve somatic or cognitive skill-building to manage symptoms, psychoeducation to better understand what’s happening in your mind and body, questions and reflection, space to process past or recent events, real human connection, and often a little humor. I have a flexible approach, balancing immediate needs—what’s happening in your life right now—with the overarching goals you’ve expressed. As an attachment-based therapist, I strive to foster attachment healing through the therapeutic relationship. I want to collaborate with you, using your strengths and mine, to get you to a better place.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho.
