You’ve been holding it together for everyone else, but inside, it feels like something’s off. Maybe it’s the anxiety that won’t shut up, the pressure to be everything to everyone, or the quiet sense that your life looks fine on paper, but doesn’t feel like yours. I'm so glad you're here. I'm ready to help rediscover and craft who you are and who you want to be. My approach I always work with a person-centered approach but incorporate many techniques from Solution-Focused therapy, CBT, and DBT. While I won't tell you what to do, I find that having actionable items can help you find clarity and pave a path for realistic change. We can explore all of your options together. My focus I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to see a change. This could be managing your anxiety, exploring your depression, determining which of your relationships work for you, or riding the roller-coaster of a major life transition. My communication style You aren't coming to me to feel judged, shamed, or to "just vent". In our sessions, we are going to be honest with each other, even when it's hard. I utilize humor in my sessions when appropriate. I want you to leave our sessions feeling empowered, challenged, and hopeful. My journey to mental healthcare I started this path forward pursuing Human Services in my undergraduate program. I graduated in 3 years and became the youngest person in my counseling graduate program. Since then, I have been working with individuals, helping them get a better understanding of who they are. I worked as a telehealth provider for a group practice during the height of COVID, primarily doing career and life coaching and doing therapy for individuals with anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns like divorce, infidelity, and breakup recovery.
