After years working in higher education, and having lost people in my community to addiction, I felt called to help people more deeply, especially communities facing barriers, so they can heal and reach their full potential. I’ve seen firsthand the cultural and religious stigma around mental health, and I wanted to help people feel less alone and more willing to seek support. I continue to believe therapy can be preventive, not just a last resort, and am dedicated to being a source of safety and hope for those in need.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. I believe in meeting people with compassion and curiosity, allowing me to be a steady, supportive partner in your healing journey. Working together, you can expect a collaborative and welcoming space, with therapy tailored to your unique story, values, and goals. I use emotionally focused and integrative approaches to help you feel safer, more connected, and more confident.
