Katherine Gleason, PT, DPT

Katherine Gleason, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist
34 High St, North Andover, MA
I have always been enamored with the human body, and watching movement patterns. In high school I fell in love with anatomy and physiology and I knew I needed to further my studies in this area. As a volunteer at my local hospital in middle school, I was able to see what physical therapists do, and it was something I could see myself pursuing. Being accepted into Northeastern University's Physical Therapy program gave me the opportunity to work during school and expose myself to many different patients and various physical therapy settings. Having the opportunity to work in so many locations further solidified that I was on the right career path. After graduating and becoming a licensed PT I was fortunate to be able to continue on to completing a year-long fellowship at the Institute of Orthopedic Manual therapy to advance my assessment and manual therapy techniques. I love spending time being outside, being active, and traveling with my family. Treating patients and being able to help a person improve their quality of life makes this profession so rewarding!
