About Dr. Katie Ranuro

Katie graduated from Quinnipiac University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy after completing her Bachelor of Health Science. Inspired by her father, a physical therapist assistant, Katie pursued physical therapy as a career that combined her interest in movement, exercise, and helping others. Her clinical experiences included orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation, as well as a clinical rotation incorporating Pilates-based exercise into orthopedic care. Katie’s clinical interests include orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and return to sport and activity. She enjoys working with active individuals and helping patients return to the activities they love. Her treatment approach emphasizes helping patients better understand their injuries, recognize what their bodies are capable of, and develop the strength and confidence to maintain an active lifestyle beyond physical therapy. Outside of the clinic, Katie enjoys hiking, traveling, attending concerts, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
