Dr. Kavita Patel has over ten years of experience in physical therapy, six of which she has spent treating patients as a licensed clinician. She has an extensive clinical background working in several outpatient orthopedic & sports injury clinics, sub-acute facilities, and hospitals in NJ, PA, and FL. Although her specialization and interests primarily lie in the outpatient setting, she also has experience in neurological, cardiac, post-stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord rehabilitation. Additionally, Dr. Patel takes pride in utilizing holistic treatment approaches involving traditional and modern medical practices to treat her patients. She passionately believes healing is greatly influenced by the body as a whole and strongly emphasizes the effects of various stressors on the body when working with patients. Dr. Patel received her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Drexel University, her Master's in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She is currently pursuing her Manual Therapy Certification and also serves as adjunct faculty for Rowan College of South Jersey's Physical Therapist Assistant program.
