A firm believer in reciprocity, I believe therapy is a "two way street" and see my role as igniting the potential within yourself through greater awareness and insight. I seek to provide a foundation where you can explore challenges and confront obstacles in a supportive environment built on trust, transparency and open communication. My approach to therapy is insight oriented and client-centered. I mainly seek results through a psychodynamic approach, and due to my extensive training and experience the field, my techniques can be customized according to your needs and goals.
I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University. There, I completed clinical training at a private physician’s office providing therapy and case management to patients with substance use disorders, mental illnesses, and physical illnesses. I have worked with both adolescents and adults seeking guidance with addictive behaviors, trauma, anxiety and depression.
My areas of specialty include: substance abuse and compulsive behaviors, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships.
