UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I believe that it is a privilege to hold space for people seeking help for their mental health and/or life circumstances. It is incredibly hard to ask for help from a stranger, and I have nothing but respect for those who do. I have no agenda as a therapist; my only concern is to meet you where you are. Clients who seem to connect with me tend to have a sense of humor, are open-minded, creative, and willing to challenge their unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors. I seek to create a partnership. I have specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and an eclectic approach that is ego-supportive, CBT, and DBT-informed. I adjust my approach based on you. I hold a Master's degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from the College of Saint Rose and a Bachelor's degree from Russell Sage College.
