Life really can get better! If you're experiencing feelings of hopelessness or just tired of being stuck, let's work together to break through any barriers that prevent you from having the quality of life you desire and deserve! My approach I don't believe in half-measures or band-aids, but skeleton keys. That is, I suspect that you have tried all of the symptom relief methods you could find on the internet, which produced temporary change and ultimately, relapse. Until you get to the core of what is motivating your behavior and thinking, symptoms will continue to reemerge or simply change form. I am here to help you get to the core of the problem, and once this occurs, intervention will be a skeleton key to opening the door to solving all problematic behaviors and narratives. My focus My ideal client is highly motivated to change, even if that motivation is no more than an intense desire not to be in pain. I will help you identify and intervene in the core issues that continue to produce pain, but this requires a courageous person. We will work collaboratively to establish goals that will produce your desired outcome. My communication style I am highly empathic and warm, but I'm not a "smile and nod" therapist. I have too much respect for you. I am very intuitive and skilled at identifying what you're needing in that moment, but sometimes what we need is to address problematic narratives in ourselves, which can be painful. I attempt to always question with kindness, provide warmth and validation, while maintaining movement towards your goals. Balance.
