About Dr. Kinley McCoury

Born and raised in Boone, NC, Kinley always felt a natural pull toward movement, athletics, and helping others. Following her two older sisters to UNC Wilmington, she quickly found her stride in Exercise Science and dove headfirst into the world of fitness, working as a personal trainer in a private studio. It was there—training clients of all ages and abilities—that her passion for physical therapy truly took root. Determined to make a deeper impact, Kinley was accepted into Nazareth’s DPT program and made the bold solo move to upstate New York. In true fashion, she hit the ground running—gaining hands-on experience and securing a physical therapy role even before graduation. Her time in a clinical system gave her the tools and clarity to return to what inspired her in the first place: personalized, one-on-one care in a more private and intentional setting. Today, she brings that full-circle journey—along with deep clinical knowledge and a genuine drive to empower others—into every session. Her patients don’t just heal; they feel seen, heard, and ready to move forward stronger than ever. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me soaking up the outdoors, playing pickleball, getting in a good gym session, or chilling with my cat.

Excellent. Kinley is very patient and knowledgeable. I am showing progress, and my walking is getting better. I highly recommend Kinley!
Kinley is a phenomenal physical therapist! She is extremely observant and is always able to target the root of the issue. She is gentle, but consistently increases the level of challenge which has propelled my recovery in ways I could not have imagined. We always have fun during our sessions! I could not ask for a better provider to support my recovery!
Helpful & informative!
Great! It's really helpful.
I've had an excellent experience working with Kinley. When I first came in with my shoulder injury, I had a lot of discomfort. Kinley took the time to understand exactly what was going on with me, explained everything clearly and created a personal treatment plan. I have had phenomenal results and would recommend Kinley to anyone recovering from an injury.
