“Pamela and Kristen are wonderful! Pamela helped me last year with my bursaitis problem. She was very dedicated to helping me to recover and taught me exercses to do at home to stay healthy. This year Kristen is helping me with another injury. Kristen is very attentive to my needs, her beside manner is excellent and she listens to my concerns. I am very grateful to have found this place! I live all the way in Brooklyn, but I don't mind traveling for because it's a great place.”

About Kristen Tomlinson

Kristen graduated summa cum laude from Long Island University’s Physical Therapy Master’s Program in 1995. She began her career with a prominent sports physical therapy practice specializing in orthopedic injuries of both professional and amateur athletes. As an athlete her whole life, she gained an appreciation of the physical and mental components needed to successfully compete. When a major knee injury interrupted her college athletics, Kristen realized through her recovery that her future career would be physical therapy.
In 2001, Kristen became Pam’s first employee and continues to help Paspa Physical Therapy maintain its clinical excellence by her continuing education classes, years of practice and personal experience with her own sports injuries. This has given Kristen the ability to empathize and relate to her patients’ recovery process both on a physical and emotional level.
Kristen grew up playing many sports including softball, swimming, soccer, basketball, tennis and golf. After college, Kristen played competitive rugby for over ten years lending to her experience with on and off field sports injuries. She is an avid tennis player and golfer and has taken many courses pertaining to these sports as well as the biomechanics of the golf swing.In her spare time, Kristen helps coach her children’s baseball, softball tennis and basketball teams. She also enjoys swimming, diving, skiing, hiking, and any activity that take her outdoors.
As a mother of two active children, she spends much time coaching their various sports while continuing to play competitive tennis.
