What should a new client know about working with you?

My diverse training and work includes a variety of treatment modalities such as, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, helping individuals that experience anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, open/ poly and monogamous relationship issues, LGBTQIA+ issues, and challenging life transitions. Sex worker friendly! I foster a warm, validating atmosphere to help my clients feel supported and seen as we navigate life's challenges and heal from past wounds. Therapy is a journey of self-discovery in an environment that you can feel comfortable expressing fears, insecurities, needs, and aspirations. Here, you will be supported as you start your journey of transformation.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When a new client reaches out to me I begin by first offering a consultation call before booking the first session. A consultation call is a free, low-pressure conversation that lasts about 15 minutes. It is a way for both of us to see if we we would be a good fit. I will introduce myself to you and explain how therapy works and the client can ask questions too. If the client feels comfortable once we talk we will schedule the first session.
