About Dr. Kristopher Diaz

My path to becoming a physical therapist began at Virginia Tech, where I earned my degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise and served as a student athletic trainer with Virginia Tech Football and Cheer. This experience sparked my passion for sports medicine and helping athletes recover from injury and return to the activities they love. I went on to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University, where I developed a strong interest in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. During PT school, I also served as Finance Coordinator for our student-run pro bono physical therapy clinic, helping support the clinic's mission of providing accessible care to the community. Today, my clinical interests include orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, post-operative care, knee and shoulder injuries, return to sport rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning. I strive to provide evidence-based, individualized care that helps patients move confidently and return to the activities that matter most to them.
