About Dr. Kyle Heffernan

Born and raised in Federal Way, WA, Kyle grew up in playing baseball from a young age which continued on through high school. After attending community college in Auburn, WA he went on to graduate from Eastern Washington University in 2022 with a Bachelors of science in Biology. Kyle returned to EWU where he received his Doctorate of Physical therapy (DPT) in 2025. He began working for Apex in the summer of 2025 and enjoys working with patients coming from a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions. He is passionate about exercise and strength training and encourages all of his patients to be the most active version of themselves. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife (married in 2021) and other family members often. They have a love of the outdoor activities and sunshine including pickleball, volleyball, hiking and spending time at lakes and rivers. Kyle and his wife love attending their local church and spending the colder months reading books and watching old movies and TV shows.
