What is your typical process for working with clients?
Shortly after scheduling an intake session, I will be in touch with the necessary paperwork and payment information. An intake session typically lasts about 55 minutes and we will go over your reasons for pursuing therapy, what you are hoping to get out of it, and relevant history. This process can happen quickly or over several sessions depending on your comfort and the amount of material. We will also discuss how frequently it makes sense to meet and other logistical considerations. Subsequent sessions range from structured to exploratory depending on a variety of factors and, like much of the therapy, is decided on together.

dr. al-hamdouni is the best mental health professional i've ever had the privilege of working with. as thoughtful, attentive, proactive, honest, and caring as someone could ever hope for. he tries to actually get to know you, remember key details about your journey, and offer creative insights or approaches alongside the standard frameworks. brilliant professional with a big heart.
