About Dr. Lan Anh Truong

Anh's experience working with patients spans from pediatric to geriatric populations. She assists individuals experiencing neurological impairments, post-surgical challenges, low back and neck pain, and sports injuries. While she enjoys working with all patients, she has a particular interest in helping older adults maintain or regain their independence as they age. Anh currently leads exercise classes at an Assisted Living Facility to help older adults get their daily dose of physical activity, keeping them strong, healthy, and active. She also participates in balance and falls screenings to help individuals recognize their risk and provide information to prevent falls. Anh believes in developing a strong patient-therapist relationship to create a plan of care that helps patients achieve their individualized goals. She excels at helping patients realize their capabilities by consistently challenging them with fun and creative exercises tailored to their interests, making therapy more enjoyable and meaningful. Anh earned both her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Central Florida. She knew early on that she wanted a career in healthcare and was drawn to physical therapy because she wanted to make a positive impact on people’s lives and improve their quality of life. It is extremely rewarding for Anh to help individuals return to the activities they love or maintain as much independence as possible. She enjoys being actively involved in each person’s rehabilitation process and supporting them every step of the way. Additionally, she values meeting new people and educating them about their health and how to stay active to live life to the fullest. In her free time, Anh enjoys traveling and exploring new places, playing tennis and soccer, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family. She is also an avid dog lover and always enjoys seeing pictures or talking about dogs!
