About Lauren Fisher

Dr. Lauren Fisher received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Elon University in North Carolina and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina. Originally from Lexington, SC, she is excited to have joined the ProMotion team at the Columbia clinic and be home in the midlands with her husband. Her clinical background includes general orthopedics, acute care, and youth sports medicine. As a gymnast and dancer growing up, Dr. Fisher developed a passion for helping young athletes in these sports through physical therapy. Through her own experiences with injuries, she understands the drive and dedication of performing artists to work through pain and wants to help this underserved population prevent and recover from injuries that keep them from doing what they love. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Fisher enjoys baking and decorating cakes, hiking, camping, and cheering on the Gamecocks.
