Dr. Lisa Shaw received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. Before physical therapy school, Dr. Shaw earned her B.S. in Health Ecology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Through her education, she formed a particular interest in orthopedics and the musculoskeletal system. She relished seeing people from all populations benefiting from the work of physical therapists to help them achieve their goals and improve daily function after injury. Once working in the field as a physical therapist, she earned a Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) for her extended study in joint and soft tissue manipulation.
