She earned her Doctorate and Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University’s APA-accredited California School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA.
Dr. Kinder has extensive experience working with diverse populations across community mental health and correctional settings. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She tailors her treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing and self-discovery. As a bilingual provider fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Kinder ensures that her care is inclusive and accessible.
Raised in California by immigrant parents, Dr. Kinder was instilled with values of perseverance, empathy, and service. Her personal experiences shaped a deep commitment to working with underserved communities and guided her interest in psychology and human behavior.
