She has worked as a physical therapist for many major health companies in New York, including NYU Langone Health (Tisch Hospital, Rusk Rehabilitation, Orthopedic Hospital), Visiting Nurse Services of NY (Brooklyn and Manhattan), and Sports PT of New York, where she served as senior facility manager. Since 2016, she has been an Assistant Professor and the Director of Clinical Education for the Physical Therapy Program at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. Loraine has worked as an orthopedic and sports physical therapist in the outpatient setting since 2007 and frequently participates in continuing education courses to further enhance her manual skills. Her favorite part of being a physical therapist is meeting new people and the instant reward of knowing she helps improve their quality of life. In her spare time, Loraine enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, sports, and dance, including modern, jazz, ballet, tap, and African styles.
