Dr. Maria Michelle Quimosing-Cruz is a highly accomplished clinician with over two decades of experience in healthcare, spanning both medicine and physical therapy. She holds dual doctorates—a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas (2002) and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Utica College, New York (2011)—reflecting her lifelong commitment to excellence in patient care and clinical education. A proud alumna of the University of the Philippines, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1998, Dr. Michelle began her career in her native Philippines, where she was licensed to practice as both a physician (with a focus on adult neurology and psychiatry) and a physical therapist (from pediatrics to geriatrics across subspecialties). Upon moving to the United States in 2007, she obtained her New York State Physical Therapy license and has since dedicated her practice primarily to outpatient orthopedics. Her pursuit of advanced specialization led her to complete a clinical residency in advanced orthopedic physical therapy at New York University in 2013, after which she became a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2014. Dr. Michelle is also well-versed in acute care physical therapy, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and multiple physical therapy subspecialties. Her extensive interdisciplinary background allows her to provide a uniquely holistic approach to patient treatment and recovery.
