“I had a good experience overall. I was surprised that the person who gave me the exercise didn’t watch to make sure my form was correct. They demonstrated and then went back to the computer and did not watch while a did the exercise. I wasn’t always sure I was doing it right and it felt weirdly ask since they were staring at their computer.”

About Dr. Marina Pavlenko

Hi! My name is Marina Kobylnik. I was born in Ukraine (yes, I speak Ukrainian and Russian) and was basically raised in Vancouver, Washington. I attended Washington State University for my undergraduate degree and then moved to Los Angeles for my Doctor of Physical Therapy program at West Coast University. In my third year of PT school, I got to go on clinicals in Hawaii, Boston, and New Jersey (both in the city and on the shore). I loved exploring so many different cities, which is something I really enjoy. In addition to exploring cities, I love the great outdoors and nature. I am a snowboarding enthusiast (yes, I own a GNU Banana Rocker board), and I also enjoy hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, strength training, and much more. On my chill days, I enjoy a good read and exploring new coffee shops (while learning more about coffee science), along with watching movies and shows. I am always up for trying and learning something new. Help me learn what you enjoy so we can work on getting you back to enjoying those things again. Beyond therapy, I attended the Perform Better “Summer Summit” conference in 2018 and hope to attend more in the future. I strive to be the best Physical Therapist I can be to help my clients return to living their best life. This is where we meet halfway to “work hard to play hard” and get you back to whatever activity makes YOU the happiest. – Marina Kobylnik

Marina is an excellent physical therapist. Great treatment and easy to follow at home program for maximum benefit and minimal downtime.
Marina was amazing. She was professional and after only one session I along back already feels better. They gave me exercises and a clear “moving forward” path. I’m super glad I found this place!
Excellent therapy by Marina and her staff, including the assistant physical therapists, exercise technicians, and interns. I had therapy for knee replacement surgeries (both knees) and the therapy I received, massage and strength and mobility conditioning, enabled me to recover in three plus months. I am walking without pain, and the quality of my life, physical and mental, has improved greatly. My sessions (two a week) were scheduled to make it convenient for me. I am forever grateful for the care I received from Marina and her staff.
My experience with Dr. Pavlenko has been excellent thus far on my physical therapy needs. She's been attentive and outlined a suitable treatment plan and exercises to address my injury at the clinic and offsite. I'd highly recommend her and the SPT organization.
Always feel listened to & included in my plan. Change in plan when needed. Provided resources to continue my care on my own. Always pleasant V up to date w/therapy,
Marina is patient, thorough and takes the time to explain what's going on and how to adress it. She's super attentive to form and is great at pointing out and demonstrating how to improve movement - both for the purpose of the session and for day-to-day functioning. Can't recommend her enough!
