About Matthew Leve

Matt Leve, PT, MSPT, GCFP, is an accomplished physical therapist with over 20 years of professional experience. He is committed to improving the daily lives of the diverse New York City community at Tula Physical Therapy & Wellness, located in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. Mr. Leve graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Cornell University, located in Ithaca, New York. He then went on to earn his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana. After graduation, Mr. Leve relocated to New York City and began working at Tula Physical Therapy & Wellness. Mr. Leve considers himself to be a movement enthusiast and movement specialist. Along with practicing physical therapy, he has experience in martial arts, Tai Chi, yoga, Pilates, and is a guild-certified practitioner of the Feldenkrais® Method. He incorporates all of these into his physical therapy practice in an effort to strengthen both his clients’ physical health and mobility patterns. Mr. Leve has a strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation and has worked with individuals with a variety of different chronic pain and neurological conditions. He aims to optimize his patients’ self-organization, speed their healing process, and reduce any injury recurrence. His ultimate goal for his clients is that they leave Tula Physical Therapy & Wellness feeling accomplished and transformed. In his free time, Mr. Leve enjoys being outdoors, practicing his cooking skills, and watching a wide array of movies. He also offers private sessions to clients who want to improve their overall fitness or learn Tai Chi.
