About Dr. Matthew Varca

Dr. Matt Varca is a physical therapist at Lifeline Physical Therapy in McMurray and Upper St. Clair. Matt earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2015, and his Bachelor of Science in Applied Kinesiology from Rutgers University in 2012. Matt is passionate about helping individuals of any age achieve their full potential and return to activities they love. Dr. Matt has extensive experience working with police, fire, military, tactical athletes and post-operative ACL population. Dr. Matt utilizes his advanced training in strength and conditioning, blood flow restriction, and Postural Restoration to help his client achieve the best result in the shortest given time. Outside of the clinic, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and son, weight training, hiking, camping and watching football.

Matt is very thorough and explains all of the techniques he is using to help relieve my neck spasms, He also lets me know how the muscles work and are connected to make sure I fully understand how he is able to help work through the pain. He takes his time & never pushes if I feel pain. Highly recommend.
