About Maureen Desepeda

Ms. Desepeda is a licensed physical therapist in New York and New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor's in Physical Therapy from De Los Santos College in the Philippines. She has worked in various medical environments, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Home Care PT, and many outpatient settings. With over 19 years of experience, she began her practice in New York in 2012. One of her strengths and areas of focus is the use of Manual Therapy and Functional Training in treating musculoskeletal injuries and neurological disorders in adult and geriatric patients. She is a caring and passionate physical therapist who values hands-on interactions with patients to help them recover and return to their prior level of function. Exceptional! ACA has made a huge difference in how I feel. The office is very professional, clean & attentive. I have come in for back pain, IT band pain & knee pain & each time I leave feeling much better. ACA keeps me active & allows me to keep running!
Very helpful and great service
I find my visit is always great. It is very convenient to book or cancel/change appointments. The ultrasound machine works wonders on me even on days that I have inflammation and pain. Maureen is very kind and patient, she details a lot of the exercises I can do at home, and she adds in modifications in case I can't complete them yet.
Very good. Everyone was pleasant and truly focused on the areas that were giving the issues. Covering and heating lamp provided for warmth.
