Amari Psychotherapy is dedicated to helping individuals and intimate relationships face the complex emotional and psychological challenges associated with fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Parenthood can be isolating and overwhelming, especially with the added stressor of mental health issues. Clients are provided with a safe, non-judgmental space to explore their feelings and receive the support and guidance needed to thrive, not just survive on autopilot.
Megan Smucker Raymond has over fifteen years of experience in community-based social work and psychotherapy. She has specialized training from Postpartum Support International and the Gottman Institute, and is a PESI Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP). Megan is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and certified perinatal mental health provider (PMH-C) in New York State and the owner and lead clinician at Amari Psychotherapy. In addition to her practice, Megan is a board member of PSI's New York Chapter, single mom of two, and therapist at Momwell, an organization bridging the gap in pre- and postnatal mental healthcare.
